Studio One Eleven was asked to assist the client in the oftentimes-challenging process of developing a graphic design agency’s conceptual art into a manufacturable, label-able bottle. When the Studio entered the project, the client's agency had proposed the front view of a faceted mouthwash bottle in addition to their branding development work. Ready to move from a visual to a bottle, the client needed a party that could liaise with the design firm and client to reconcile design intent against volumetric and engineering requirements, preform availability and molding envelope constraints, closure availability, etc.
Working closely with Berlin’s manufacturing partners, Studio One Eleven specified a CRC preform and closure, generated 3D CADD databases, and created dozens of white hand-rubbed prototypes for the client in 3 weeks, allowing the client to preview its new product with buyers and insure a successful on-time launch.
