SAMY's colorful hair care product line includes this unique styling gel package featuring three custom-molded parts: a base jar and a 2-piece assembled lid.
Berlin Packaging's design division and global sourcing resources worked hand in hand to turnkey this project for the client. As 3-dimensional geometry files were transferred back and forth between the US and Asia, Studio One Eleven's design engineers generated prototypes for form approval and oversaw testing of several material / molding options including gate placement, pearlized resins, etc.
Ultimately the crisply embossed collar was post-processed with spray-coated silver to achieve the desired "ice" effect. A clear domed window provides product show through to the attractive, iridescent crystalline hair "putty".
