Richard joins Berlin after serving as Creative Director at Lipson Alport Glass Associates (LAGA) in Chicago, leading engagements with clients such as Pepsi, Starbucks, SC Johnson, General Mills and more recently the Royal Household of the United Arab Emirates. Richard hails from the United Kingdom where he earned a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from Exeter University as well as from BISEN, Hokkaido in Japan.
Richard came to the US, to assume the role as Creative Director with Webb Scarlett de Vlam in 2002. His previous engagements have taken him to four continents with such notable design consultancies as Carré Noir and Di Robilant & Associati in Italy, Wallace Church in NY and Ogilvy in London. His client engagements with these firms span categories from premium beverages (Courvoisier), to personal care (Head & Shoulders), to food (Nestlé Perugina) and niche specialty brands (Organic Valley).
